Pros
For the most part, project team members (i.e., engineers) work hard and want to have a successful project.
Cons
Resources are extremely strained due to layoffs, voluntary attrition, good people leaving for better opportunities. Senior management is horrible. Their plan to achieve financial goals is to cut the lower level employees who actually do the work while creating new positions for managers whose jobs were eliminated even though they are not qualified to do the work. Top level management positions increase while engineering and PM positions continue to be eliminated. Not a plan for success nor a working culture that motivates or encourages employee dedication to the company.
