Pros

I wouldn't change much with the first 25 years, not so with the last 10 - 12.

Cons

If you try to hold any level manager accountable for their poor performance, you will be retaliated against for years to come. One manager/director/vp, will never admit to another managers bad judgment or behavior. No accountability what so ever, HR Department has their back unconditionally. If an employee trys to use HR to get help it will prove costly. If a manager decides to fire an employee, HR does not look into anything, they are completely behind the manager. If you were made a 2 performer, you're guilty as charged. I could go on for hours and may add more later.

Pros

Good location. Nice building.

Cons

There are, unfortunately, several. They have slowly removed the perks that previously made this a great company to work for while placing more and more demands on the employees. Front line managers place far too much emphasis on metrics (e.g. monthly 'human performance' observations) that add no value to anything and distract from the engineer's duty to provide sound technical answers to our customers.

Pros

Work life balance is good, the corporate building is very nice, also the cafeteria, gym and other facilities are very nice. Salary and pay are very good.

Cons

I worked 25 years in Nuclear Operations for Exelon at a power plant before coming here, and the company is behind the industry in everyway. If INPO would perform an evaluation here like they do at the sites, the company would fail miserably. Organizational effectiveness is very poor, also accountability and teamwork are bad. Supervisors, managers, and directors who have been here for awhile and have no outside Nuclear plant leadership experience are not willing to change. Communications and expectations are not clear from anyone.
