Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as a current Westlake team member. Westlake is proud to have tenured employees who have found growth with the company. The company offers a competitive uncapped commission and bonus structure for our sales professionals. One of the bedrocks of sales is competition and our management team welcomes new ways to implement it with the least amount of tension, with established guidelines and rules to manage the fair engagement of our dealerships. As a current employee, we want to see you thrive in your role. We encourage you to reach out to your manager, director, or Human Resources to address your concerns. We would love to hear your ideas on how we can continue to improve. We hope your time with us helps you achieve your career goals as you continue to grow with the company.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you found the pay plan and incentive structure favorable. At Westlake, employees are given autonomy and encouraged to be self-starters. Our sales training department is proactive in training all our new employees throughout the year. Our regional managers and divisional sales trainers engage with our sales professionals providing continued education and training to ensure success. We are disappointed to hear that you felt you needed more support from management. We have noted your concerns so that future Westlake employees do not experience similar gaps in expectations. We thank you for your contributions.

Pros

The pay was good. That's all I can say

Cons

Working for a company that micromanages can be incredibly stressful and demoralizing. Constant oversight, excessive scrutiny of every task, and a lack of trust from management create an environment where employees feel undervalued and stifled. The pressure to meet unrealistic expectations and the fear of making even minor mistakes can lead to burnout and anxiety. Instead of fostering creativity and independence, micromanagement often results in decreased productivity, low morale, and high turnover, as employees struggle to thrive under such oppressive conditions.
