Pros

Surrounded by great colleagues that are both brilliant and easy to get along with. The management here has open door policy. You're always welcome to ask questions. No questions are stupid. This is very rare at other firms. Think the pay may be higher because White & Case is a prestigious, global law firm. Cafeteria here is nice and food/beverages are reasonable priced compared to eating out.

Cons

Con – partners can be intimidating. Some secretaries are worse/ruder than attorneys. They’re impatient and snappy when you’re trying to gather information from them. LONG hours. This place does suck your energy. From what I heard, hard to get promoted or salary increase, so negotiate higher salary when you interview.

The only pro was that I could list them on a resume when seeking another job.

Cons

Was hired to perform certain functions, but when I started they gave all my tasks to a different employee and stuck me with undefined responsibilities. The department director was extremely charismatic -- but also a bit crazy. All in all, it was a terrible experience.
