Pros

Incredible social life, especially among junior associates Modern office with great amenities Market compensation for Big Law

Cons

Poor allocation of work and responsibility Toxic work culture among management and seniors Little to no oversight over the individual associate - you are a cog in a machine Relatively poor exit opportunities compared to peer firms Firm does not have any true system for associate development other than PowerPoint "trainings" What you want out of your career is meaningless to management - your billable hour is all that matters Hours are horrible if you’re in the wrong group
