Pros
Wiregrass Technical College is a good place to work and an asset to the community as well as the entire region. The facilities are great and the equipment is good. There is a family atmosphere amongst the employees. It is satisfying to be a part of the students growth, maturity and improved chance of success.
Cons
It is part of the larger State Government Bureaucracy and is operated in this fashion. This is simply the way things are, and if you can stomach it, it is okay. There is a lot of patting ones self on the back going on. Some of the students just can't be helped, or are not ready yet. That is frustrating and can wear on you. It is also frustrating to see those type of students float through with financial assistance from the taxpayers.
