Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention. We strive to create a professional and fun environment for all of our team members. Part of these efforts include our annual firm trip to the State Fair of Texas, Monthly Happy Hours that are organized by our Happy Hour Committee as well as our Community Outreach events, which all team members are encouraged but not required to participate in. We do work hard and we play hard together as a team! I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t feel like you were a fit in our organization. I wish you had brought these concerns to myself or Human Resources during your time here so that we could’ve addressed them with you. Sincerely, Amy Witherite

Great Place to Work

Pros

The firm takes care of its employees like family. The environment is comfortable and there are plenty of perks - "Work hard. Play hard." We do planned events firm wide (including family friendly). The firm plans State Fair day and even provided school supplies to all employee children. Office attire is relaxed and not nearly as strict as most law firms. No - we can't wear jeans every day, but we definitely don't have to wear suits everyday either. I don't feel pressured to dress or act in a way that is not authentic to me. Compassion is everywhere. I have never worked for a more generous office (nor have I heard of one!)

Cons

The location makes for a traffic clad commute - be prepared to drive in gridlock. The workload can be quite heavy and overwhelming. However, anyone that speaks up and voices their concerns or struggles, they will not be left behind to sink. Again - the firm takes care of its own like family.

EW Knocks It Out the Park!

Pros

There is never a dull moment at EW. Each day is filled with new challenges and projects. Time flies fast, and I always wonder where the time went at the end of the day. EW is a place for go-getters and those who thrive in a high-volume, fast-pace environment. The staff is composed of caring people who love our clients. Overall, staff members get along with one another and are able to laugh while working. Most importantly, Mrs. Amy K. Witherite's heart endears the clients and the staff. Her goal is to provide excellent service to our clients, and she provides competitive salary and benefits to her employees. EW has grown over the past years, which speaks volumes of the stability of the Firm in terms of employment. We continue to thrive because Amy is a visionary. Along with this vision is her charitable arm, which reaches across the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. As a result, the Firm gives back to the clients and the community we serve. As a person who is involved in civic and community service, this is a very appealing component of EW.

Cons

I feel EW is what you make it.
