Pros

Benefits appear to be in line with others in the industry

Cons

Lack of Leadership and management is so prevalent throughout the organization, it has created inefficiency, hardship and discontent to those trying to get the work done. There is little to no support and few if anyone knows who to call for help. Anyone trying to be productive or solve problems is met with only roadblocks. Inefficiencies are being passed to the clients, but once clients become aware, company will only lose more work. Information Technology support was outsourced to IBM in India and stating it is horrible is a gross understatement. It is a severe hinderance to progress and has most likely doubled the cost of doing business. CEO and most of the management throughout the organization only seem to care about themselves. Most people who are good at what they do are leaving the company as soon as they receive an offer elsewhere. Once other companies start winning the work and needing more employees, others will follow as employees are not happy and know management is not looking out for them. Therefore, there is no company loyalty and few people are happy or engaged.

Pros

If you dont have anything nice to say then.............

Cons

Wood is the perfect example of how a company should not be run. Amazed this place is still operating and not bankrupt. Zero diversity, clueless managment overseas, corrupt, unetichal, absolute chaos. There was one month where i did not recieve my paycheck. Had to talk to payroll several times just to get it correct. You can image how this place is if they cannot even pay their employees. Thats not the worst part either. This place is super shady. My boss came up to me and told me i needed to take a paycut because i made too much money. how the hell is that my fault and who has been going around and discussing salaries? no confidentiality whatso ever. Gossip and any talk spreads like crazy. You hear inappropriate lanaguage and racial slurs often and no one seems to mind. There have also been so many charges and unetichal behavior at this place. So many stories I've heard of employees stealing from the company, hiring relatives, unsafe acts, and just utter stupidty. Every acquistion, merger has been done horribly and the latest AMEC Foster is the biggest mess of all. We're all clueless what is going on and management is not forthcoming. We all are worried about layoffs and no one seems to care. Benefits are bad and expensive. Comparing to other oil and gas companies the compensation, heath, rewards is a complete joke. I've spoken to others in the industry who are making 20-30% more with lower and better health insurance premiums. Made a horrible mistake coming here.
