Pros

Work from home, desirable schedule, monthly stipend for internet/phone

Cons

Was hoping the recent changes in management will increase the lack of communication but haven’t seen it yet. When working in the virtual world, communication is even more vital. Poor training and support.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear about your positive experiences at WorkCare. We apologize about your experience with WorkCare management and communication. We continue to enhance our Leadership Training to help new and experienced managers in their roles. We have also made improvements to our communication with new tools such as a company intranet site, virtual HR update meetings and an employee feedback form. Again, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve our company.

Thank you for sharing your experience as a WorkCare team member. We are so happy to hear this is how you feel. Frequent and transparent communication is one of many goals at WorkCare. We have made significant improvements to our communication by adding a variety of new tools from a company intranet site to a separate employee hub for policies and procedures. We also recently held our first quarterly HR update meeting. If you have any suggestions on how we can continue improving our communication, please let us know.

Pros

Working from home remote. Provided all needed equipment. Pay started right where I was at the hospital so I didn't lose any money by switching. Less stress and its not life or death if we are short staffed. Management is pretty decent, no where near as bad as some of the places I have worked. Bonus structures and raises, which I have never had at any hospital. Opportunities to move to other departments within 6 months of hire.

Cons

Pay could be better, no really a huge con... just would be nice considering having to meet metrics and auditing requirements for triage. Since the increase in employers there is way more information to know about the companies and makes it more of a challenge to get good scores and not miss anything. Working 8 hour days, but still having to work weekends and holidays. Would prefer 10-12 hr scheduling to allow for more days off.
