Thanks for sharing the feedback. Its always disappointing to see a current employee leave this type of feedback. I'd strongly encourage you to come and speak to me, or another member of the HX team, to see if we can understand more.

Pros

- Incredible culture and work-life balance. Having worked at places that are truly toxic, the positive and supportive energy at Workhuman is a breath of fresh air. - Onsite amenities (gym, wellness suites, free hot lunch 2x weekly, stocked kitchen) - Opportunity to do meaningful work - Growing responsiveness to feedback. In recent company meetings, leaders have indicated that they have heard employee feedback and are actioning it. Would love to see even more of this!

Cons

- Inconsistency in how leaders hold themselves and their teams accountable. Some leaders are incredible, most are solid, but there are a handful of key leaders that are pretty abysmal, both in their abilities to deliver results and to support their teams. Every company has these leaders, but I think a challenge for Workhuman in general is managing poor performance. - Three days in office required for hybrid employees. This con is mitigated somewhat by the great amenities onsite. - Salary lags the market a bit. This con is also mitigated a bit by the onsite amenities as well as the work-life balance.

Pros

Good tech stack, people (peer level) in the office, free lunch, good parking arrangement, and rewards are good

Cons

As the title says, it’s like a ship that’s going down and already halfway sunk at that. People are getting fired left, right, and centre, and everyone’s scrambling to mind themselves however they can. Workhuman? Ah, sure, they care more about the work part than the human bit, even if it means grinding people into the ground. You’ve project managers smiling away to your face, all agreeing on whose work’s getting done first. Then the minute your back is turned, they’re out with the knives, trying to get ahead of you. They always keep that friendly, supportive look — like everything’s fine — but as soon as layoff season starts creeping in, they wipe the job postings clean. During the layoffs, they swear up and down that they’ll “support you” in finding something else internally, even though there’s nothing there — because they’ve already removed it all. And the second, the layoffs are over? Sure enough, the very same roles pop back up on their portal — only now they’re looking outside the company. You couldn’t trust HX (their fancy name for HR) as far as you could throw them.
