Pros

The offices were newer and very nicely constructed so the surroundings are great. They also provide free snacks and beverages.

Cons

I am actually leaving in a week to work a similar position at a new company where I won't have to give every hour of the day to work. I feel betrayed in the worst way by Workiva and their demands. They push you so hard and in return you get nothing back. Leaving Workiva is like having a huge weight taken off my shoulders and it feels great. No more nights of working until 1-2-3am.

Pros

The style of management is by far the best. People do not micromanage every aspect of your day to day activities. The environment is laid back and people are kind, with a great culture.

Cons

The routine becomes stagnant after a few months, despite the company initiatives and events. People are caught in a cyclical routine, and therefore personal growth becomes dull.

Used to have better perks as a smaller company but the only reason to work for this employer anymore is for the resume.

Cons

Pay is bad. I mean really bad. Benefits are also mediocre. With Workiva going public on the stock exchange, our options we received turned out to be near worthless. Discouraging place to work anymore.
