      High-growth agency with a great culture and talented team

      Pros

      I've spent my entire career studying and occupying various marketing disciplines. Workshop Digital stands miles apart from your typical digital marketing agency for more than a few reasons. Examples below; Culture - The team is filled with supremely talented, smart, considerate people who are laser focused on their respective roles while also working together to achieve lasting, impactful results for our clients. Work/Life Balance - Workshop digital delivers an outstanding end product to their clients. Believe it or not, this can be accomplished without driving employees to the brink of burn out. Preserving mental health through W/L balance is taken seriously here at WSD. Process Oriented - From the bottom all the way up to leadership, Workshop Digital has a process for everything. This is not an agency that believes in "winging it" when it comes to tasks big or small. Compensation - It's not cheap to attract and retain top talent. Workshop Digital invests heavily in their employees and always makes sure they are well taken care of from a financial standpoint.

      Great company, great culture, great clients

      Pros

      - Diverse client portfolio so you get experience with different industries and digital strategies/platforms - The people! The WD crew is awesome and great people to hang with (inside and outside of work) - Pretty autonomous work environment when it comes to account management - Paid volunteer opportunities and unlimited PTO

      Cons

      - Can get meeting heavy - Sometimes a little too into their processes and doesn't allow for flexibility by client

It's great to know that the autonomy, efforts to support community involvement through paid volunteer opportunities, and flexible PTO are making a positive difference. We acknowledge your points about the meetings and our processes. We aim to strike the right balance between being thorough and flexible, and like most things, there's always room for improvement. We've already found many ways to streamline our meetings to ensure they're as productive and efficient as possible. As for the flexibility in processes, we understand that each client's needs can be unique, and we're exploring how we can maintain our high standards while adapting to those needs more fluidly.

      Good + supportive management Robust training Individual autonomy Ability to make change happen company-wide Direct access to leadership Benefits are absurd, bonuses are generous Full transparency to all aspects of the company

      Cons

      Can get a little meeting heavy Not always the clearest growth path Raises tend not to happen ad-hoc and are typically quarterly, though typically generous Profit-share portions are not always clearly communicated

We've done a lot to minimize meetings, illuminate growth paths, and set more predictable expectations around raises and promotions, thanks to feedback like this.
