Opportunities to roll up sleeves and do interesting work. Decent health benefits. Some good people are still here. Good start out pay. Good sized teams and quality team mates.
Cons
Too much burueocracy for a small 30 person company. Management is out of touch with reality and deluded about their ability to lead us to success. Operations is more concerned with fighting other departments for control and going on daily power trips instead of doing real work that could help the company be successful. I have never experienced such a disfunctional place where people are rewarded and promoted only if they are blood relatives with the head of operations and if they focus only on punching the clock with no regard for doing any productive work. Causing terminal delays for engineering and sales seems to be the company goal and fostering a spiteful gossipy workplace seems to be the highest priority of the current management team.
