Pros

Decent benefits, matching 400K, pension, time off.

Cons

Too much over-time. Lack of training. Very hard to get consensus between departments. Too hard to effect change that everyone agrees with. Lack of hiring from outside to diversify knowledge base. Seems like there is more concern with getting bonuses and pensions rather than doing what is best for the rate payer.

Pros

Work life balance Standard work week Good experience in Renewable Energy Strong corporate mission and vision

Cons

Benefits are just OK (high deductible and out of pocket max for families) Pay is just OK (Negotiate your offer!) Career development and training almost non existent (no investment in skills development) Opportunities most readily available for Project Managers, Engineering and Finance backgrounds. Everyone else has to work harder to find a good role. High Turnover Silos across organizations creates duplicative work and lack of engagement and collaboration. Technology organization unorganized and unresponsive
