Pros

The company provides nice offices and convenient locations to work in and is helpful in meeting your needs for remote work. General company culture is helpful and friendly and laid back. Its easy to talk to co-workers and other employees.

Cons

General pay is low for the industry. Its difficult for pay raises to keep up with inflation or other changes with the industry. Also the tech stack that is used is built in house and largely poorly supported or documented. This can lead to very frustrating and hard to debug errors occurring in the web server framework. This leads to work-arounds and poorly understood code tricks being used to achieve tasks. The only way to understand these work-arounds or code tricks is to have another dev explain whats going on to you. Bugs and errors in web server framework can silently error or give very poorly worded errors and can lead to lots of manual debugging/testing.

Pros

Great team to work with and great people. You get free lunch every Friday. Generous severance packages.

Cons

If you have the perfect life and nothing happens to you it’s great. If you have No kids and living with your parents. They don’t like you taking any PTO so there’s no such thing as work life is non existent in this role. High expectations and low pay. No one really free to training because of heavy work load but fires like the don’t need people.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your fun and supportive colleagues and leaders during your time at our Austin location, and that you found our benefits to be generous. Our robust benefits package includes competitive PTO and sick time, an Employee Assistance Program, paid parental leave, and comprehensive leave policies that provide our employees the support they need while they navigate challenging times. We are strong advocates of employees using their PTO and offer flexible hybrid schedules to support positive work-life balance. We highly encourage employees to regularly connect with their managers and to let leadership know when additional support or guidance is needed with prioritizing and navigating deliverables, and genuinely ask that employees reach out to speak with Human Resources about any concerns they have so we are given an opportunity to help. We hope you find something that better suites your needs and wish you all the best.

Pros

People were nice and the overall culture/work life balance was okay

Cons

Low pay. Seemed slow to change. Doesn’t give off that innovative vibe of a modern tech company. Felt upper management was stuck in old ways and not always making decisions. Benefits could’ve been better
