While we understand it can be challenging to be held accountable to specific metrics on a daily basis, we know that this is the best way one can be successful in sales. In addition, our management style at Yelp is very hands-on, and we recognize that to some this may feel like micromanagement. However, our goal is to give ample support to our sales team while they learn new sales skills and practice new tactics, though we know this approach is not for everyone. Honesty and transparency in sales are things we coach from the very beginning, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for unethical behavior. With that said, we know the Account Executive role is demanding. In addition, we focus on rewarding every person with a competitive compensation package centered on much more than just a paycheck. This package includes things like stock incentives, cash bonuses, 401(k) matching, wellness reimbursements, work from home reimbursements, and mental health and wellness services, to name a few.
