Pros

Great ministry when we focus on Jesus and reaching kids!

Cons

Just another useless social justice organization when we don't focus on Jesus and reaching every kid! We go from a mission to just another organization.

Pros

Pursue your passions while you are young, available, and energetic. Network with many different groups of people within your community, from students to financial professionals. People matter, relationship first kind of organization. Flexibility of schedule, good pay for the type of work, and you get to participate in a larger vision.

Cons

The support the organization gives you is almost null. The typical answer when you run into management, finance, or logistical problems is go and fix it yourself, without much training on how to do it.
