Pros

YAP is big on family and community involvement. They are really focused on providing services to clients in school to limit behaviors. Teamwork and support from coworkers is a big plus while working for this company.

Cons

No advances with pay unless you have a Masters. TSS's do not receive any benefits, retirement, sick days, or paid time off. Also, hours during the summer are terrible due to no school and lack of home hours.

Pros

working with a great team of committed people who enjoy working with special needs/, mental health children in the home, community and at school. Enjoyed the agency who also had that same focus and vision to help families and children on all levels.

Cons

paper work, could only be paid when I billed an encounter with the client.
