Pros

If it was socially acceptable to get Ziflow stamped on my forehead, I would be the first to do it. Okay, but all jokes aside, I can’t speak highly of this company enough. When I first started at Ziflow, I had a few concerns about ramping up remotely, but I'm fortunate enough to be a part of an extremely experienced team that knows exactly what they're doing. Even though the team was small, it didn't feel like there we were figuring it out as we went, hoping for something to work. There was strong groundwork from the start (which is not always the case with startups), and support everywhere I asked even though the team is remote. Culture: This was my first time working at a company that is fully remote, and before I started the role, I thought it was going to be a keep-your-head-down, or log-in-log-out, kind of thing -- I was wrong. Not only is the team hardworking, fast, and focused, but also so supportive, diverse, and witty. We are an eclectic group of people that still somehow gel with one another fairly effortlessly, and that really speaks to how great our management/executive team is at cultivating a team that reflects our overall values, vision, and brand of the company. In that same breath, I can confidently say that leadership absolutely cares about our professional development and overall success. I didn't think I would receive the kind of mentorship and advocacy I do now, but thankfully and again, I was wrong. Lastly, one of the best parts about working at Ziflow, is the product. Nothing is better than working with a potential customer and hearing how happy they are that they found a solution that makes their lives significantly easier. The product itself is sound and agile as there are new releases/updates every few weeks. Another testament to this is how much we've grown in a span of just 6 months. TLDR: A team made up of the best, and most hardworking people. Leadership that actually supports you the way that you need. 10/10 product. A great place to work and a very exciting place to be in general, but in terms of growth specifically.

Cons

- Because it is a growing startup, there isn't really a hard timeline on a role change like I know a lot of other companies have. You don't hit an "eligibility" status for a role change once you've been with the company for a certain amount of time or hit a specific attainment goal. There are still moving parts, to say the least, but can also be leveraged as a great growing opportunity to learn other aspects of the business. This isn't really a con but more something to be aware of at any startup at this stage of growth. - Working remotely isn't for everyone! You are completely autonomous here and I know that environment doesn't work for everyone. As I've said, leadership is always there to support you, but it's ultimately on you to pull your weight even when your team isn't physically with you. BUT this does promote a healthy work/life balance which is probably one of the biggest pros of working from home!

Pros

- Awesome culture and camaraderie - Really good benefits - Annual company meetups - Focus on output, not hours at a desk - Customers love the product, and customer success and support teams - CEO and Leadership willing to invest in people and programs

Cons

I think we've already moved past the usual startup growing pains. The only drawback in the last year is that COVID robbed us of our annual company meetup, and we're 100% remote, so we'll have to wait for that. I'd still prefer waiting, vs going back to an office, though.
