Pros

People there are the best aspect, they are picky with who they hire making it a great company to work for! Free lunches & happy hours are a plus.

Cons

Once Trulia was acquired by Zillow, things started to change. If you did not kiss up to HR or the VP, you were screwed. The aroma of fear has set into sales and other departments, you never know when your last day will be if you're not achieving 110%

Hi there -- thank you for the review. I'm sorry your experience wasn't the best - what you describe is not the environment many of us know and love, or strive to achieve. Best of luck in your next adventure. Amy (COO)

Pros

By far the best company I have ever worked at. It's definitely not easy but if you thrive off of a fast pace, work hard sales environment then your pay check will definitely show for it. Management genuinely cares and makes a conscious effort everyday to make it a fun place to work. Happy hours, prizes (tvs, Apple iPods, gift cards, trips, money), amazing benefits, monthly gym reimbursement, massages that come to the office, fun team outings, catered food the list goes on. The sky is the limit of how much money you can make, however it's all about the effort that you put in. If your someone who likes to push yourself, doesn't give up, likes a challenge, is competitive and wants to make money then this is perfect. If you want to coast and hope you make your numbers, it's not gonna happen. Year after year there is constant change and new opportunities. After working at several different sales companies, I'm so thankful to finally have found a company that I not only enjoy coming into every day but values my worth. Keep growing!

Cons

I really can't think of anything.

Great Culture

Pros

The best thing about working at Zillow Group is the culture. A very transparent, forthcoming and proactive culture prevails across all of the teams I've worked with. This company really values initiative and provides resources to pursue ideas.

Cons

The company rightly celebrates its benefits package, but it is my belief that they are not quite competitive at base compensation given what peer organizations are paying in New York City.

Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear you enjoy our transparent and innovative culture. We review compensation on a regular basis however if you have questions or concerns about the pay in NYC, I invite you to reach out to me, your manager or HR Business Partner to discuss this directly. - Stan Humphries, Chief Analytics Officer, Zillow Group
