Pros

Competitive pay. Excellent benefits (mostly). Moving toward a people first organization. Embracing diversity initiatives. Work from anywhere. No archaic dress code rules (especially nice for those working from home). Increasing transparency (mostly). Great managers and colleagues. Depending on the manager, great work life balance. Overall excited about what has changed and what is said to be changing. I mostly love working here, especially after the changes made by the exec team, but sometimes it's really stressful on ops.

Cons

If you are salary, it's an unlimited PTO policy, which is not that great if you're in operations, which is consistently short-staffed. While the company leaderships seems to be transparent, the operations team still has a long way to go. The tools and docs for the business services and operations teams, especially ones for how to process work, are pretty dreadful.

Thank you so much for your insight and comments. We are excited about all the changes that have been made while also recognizing we have a long way to go. Building a culture that empowers those around us requires full transparency and we will continue our efforts to increase communication and transparency. We are constantly searching for new team members that will fit into the fast pace and, yes, sometimes high-stress, environment. Our goal is to pursue excellence at all levels, which means in the team members themselves and staffing. Please refer anyone you feel would be a fit for us! We’d love to hear from them. Thank you again for your insight and we will work to continue to address these concerns.

We are committed to building a great culture together and work/life balance is a major component of that. We are working to ensure all team members have the ability and security to build not only their professional lives but their personal lives as well. We sincerely appreciate the time and effort all our team members put into their work lives and as well as the feedback to help us improve along the way.

Thank you for providing this information. Through insight like this, directly from our teams, we will be able to create better outcomes for everyone. Zinnia is a new organization, and we strive to maintain an open mindset where everyone is included and empowered to create a culture of excellence. We have made steps since the launch of the new company and will continue to make steps to create that excellence in every aspect of our culture. Appropriate accommodations for the visually impaired is an excellent suggestion, and we will work with management to incorporate that vital need into our operations. Thank you again for your openness and feedback.
