Pros

The company is fairly supportive of employees. HR focuses on training employees over disciplining. I know from managing employees that HR pushed me to avoid disciplinary action and instead use training. The company encourages self-training such as Pluralsight. I've had several managers and all of them have been good to work with. Not one bad apple. I attribute that to the company culture. Flexible work from home schedule Lots of opportunities to move between departments. Grow and learn

Cons

You'll make more money at other large IT companies. Zions likes to pay employees in the "mid-range". So they are not paying on the low end but not on the high end either.

Pros

You get to work with intelligent, honest, and hard-working people who really care about what they do. You get to work for a company that is highly concerned with their employees' job satisfaction and work-life balance. Zions Bank has very fair compensation salaries and benefits for working full-time workers include health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, 401k, paid vacation days, paid sick days, bank holidays and much more.

Cons

I have worked at Zions Bank for the past two years and have yet to find a downside to working here.
