Pros

Enjoyed my time at my financial center with a good group of employees.

Cons

Very top-down management style. Communication isn't great. A lot of silos. Technology wasn't great but is getting somewhat better. Very budget orientated....bordering on cheap. Modeling drives everything. Western Idaho leadership is very poor on retail side.

Pros

I love the clients that come in and a lot of the times the other tellers and I don't have any issues, and we spend more time with each other then our families. The hours we are open are pretty great, I work in a small city that doesn't have the bank open on Saturday, we stay open m-f 9-6. 2 weeks paid vacation after 90 days, holidays are off and paid for.

Cons

Some things we pay money on are stupid, our office max orders for supplies have crazy prices for things like trash bags you could buy for so cheap somewhere else like walmart, they keep cutting our hours and telling us we aren't approved to hiring people, so clients are waiting and then leaving because they are so frustrated, the technology lacks, we can't print cards off in branches, and have to view a million different screens to find the right things, other banks can view a picture of your divers license, we are so far from technology like that. I ask my manager why we can't hire any people, and he tells me we don't have hours for it, but apparently we have the money to throw away so we can pay drive time and mileage reimbursement to being someone from a branch over to help constantly, my assistant manager says awful things about which tellers are pretty and bigger or slower then others, she needs to stay professional and stop being abusive and honestly you can't say anything because the second she gets talked to about it she will know its you because there isn't enough people working for her.

Pros

Time off is great. For the most part management is very good. Lots of places to move to and grow. However, they limit how much an internal candidate can increase in pay.

Cons

The IT group is fragmented and you have a lot of kingdom builders in IT management. Terrible health benefits
