Pros

Yearly raises (lower and lower due to shareholder changes) and before constantly turned-over contractors ruled the landscape - friendly and conscientious colleagues.

Cons

All non-sales areas are understaffed or re-staffed with contractors or temps - and the few full time employees are worked to the bone. Turnover is horrific - longtime employees ("lifers") are dropping like flies. Nepotism and favoritism is sadly a common strand throughout the organization - promoting incompetence and standing on the shoulders of the true workers who end up finding greener pastures and getting paid what they actually deserve.

Pros

The company is stable and well-established in the pharma industry. Benefits are good and generally competitive with other companies in the sector. There’s genuine flexibility in many roles, and work-life balance is reasonable depending on your team. The systems and tools in place are solid, and the company invests in keeping technology up to date (though, as with most organizations, there’s always room for improvement).

Cons

biggest drawback is in the management culture at the upper levels. There are individuals who are very close to top executives, and that can create an uneven playing field. If you end up on a team managed by one of these people, it can be difficult to raise concerns or report misconduct. While there are official no-retaliation and whistleblower policies, in practice there’s a strong sense that people who file complaints (particularly about those with connections to leadership) are subject to retaliation—either directly or in more subtle ways. This undermines trust in the process and can make some teams feel unsafe or unsupported.

Pros

- Coworkers were all fantastic - Good initial team morale - Supposedly different departments have very different experiences (so one bad apple doesn't necessarily mean they're all bad)

Cons

- Horrible management at all levels - HR actively protecting management over lower level employees whilst ignoring the issues that lower level employees had. - Management did not recognize or reward hard work. - Clear favoritism that held no basis in work productivity. - Little to no structure for shifts. You can and will be asked to pull overtimes some months, then forced to take none another month. And putting in extra hours will get no recognition.
