Pros

None. Nothing good to say. You will be discounted. Just look at the turnover.

Cons

Everything is bad. The two founders need to be replaced. Where is the Board and endeavor.

Pros

My coworkers are brilliant and amazing people. Pretty much everyone is easy to get along with and no uncomfortable office politics to deal with.

Cons

Employees in this company are very disposable. Management doesn't care about them in the least and will toss you aside if it benefits them. It's all about lining the pockets of management and especially Dave Sanders, the CEO. Mr Sanders is a media hog and his 'Image" is more important than his employees. Management is definitely lacking in integrity. Benefits are extremely poor. No sick time, do don't get sick or it eats up your earned PTO, No paid holidays and you better love going to zoom for all medical needs or you are SOL as the medical insurance forces you to stay within zoom. This means all coworkers have access to your personal medical chart. Pay is minimal. They can suddenly take random coworkers and decide they are LOD's (Leaders on Duty) which means that suddenly you have a manager over you with absolutely NO management training, experience or skills. Company is very disorganized as a whole and chaotic. They can't make up their mind on protocol or standard operating procedures so you never know whats coming at you and it's inevitable this will cause you to wind up making a mistake on whatever day they decide to change something and this will bite you in the butt. All of this causes an very high turnover rate in employees. Not many people stay very long. I really wouldn't trust the positive reviews on here as management is known to go on here and post fake positive reviews. Seriously, don't waste your time here.

Pros

Lots of great people and great ideas. A challenging introductory healthcare position. You will gain valuable knowledge and skills from highly intelligent and compassionate people.

Cons

Just don't plan on sticking around for long. Let this be your introduction into healthcare and learn as much as you can, but this is not a long term position. As an associate, you will start at around $13.00/hr and receive a $.50 raise every 6 months, barring some logistical complications that may set your raise back to between 1 month and never. There is little upward mobility. The company is focused on it's vision and not who helps it get there. A culture of fear permeates HQ. Who will be "phased out" next, or leave on a day's notice after years or service because of "fundamental differences"? Who will be publicly humiliated during today's meeting? In clinic, employees feel under-appreciated and under-heard. Decisions that directly affect only the clinic staff are made without their input, or thought to the direct effects on those at the "face" of ZOOM+. There is no compromise or negotiation. "Business decisions" are made that sacrifice the very core values on which ZoomCare was built and force associates and providers into uncomfortable situations. Promises are made and not kept. There is often less walk than talk. The clinic associate role used to be filled with intelligent, goal-oriented individuals, many of whom were interested in or actively pursuing a degree or career in healthcare. Things have changed, most have left in search of something more substantial, and the value of a competent clinic associate has been obviously decreased, leaving many providers frustrated. ZOOM+ is a company full of visionary ideas, intelligent minds, and caring, compassionate, disappointed employees who believe in what they do, but would simply like to be treated better.
