High expectation, Low Salary

Pros

You get a lot of experience in many different areas, such as clinic management, customer service, phlebotomy, basic labs, etc. Great for those starting out who may want a career in health care.

Cons

You are expected to basically do everything except practice medicine for a measly $13, plus $1 for every patient that comes into the clinic. Too much for too little.

Pros

You learn a lot! From insurance policies, to phelbotomy, to maintaing a clinic. You do everything for the clinic besides actually diagnosing and treating patients which gives you a lot of control on how your day will go. Pretty much everyone who works in the clinic are fantastic! 3 1/2 day weekends are a huge plus as well.

Cons

This position is definitely not worth the compensation! Raises have been promised for several months, and they still keep being pushed back. Associate management can barely do the job they are "managing"which makes it impossible to get any real feed back. Be prepared to be over worked and extremely under appreciated, lets just say there is a huge turn over for a reason.

Directionless and Financial Distress

Pros

The Company does at least try to offer easy access to healthcare and their benefits improved for 2026.

Cons

The Company changes plans every 4-6 months to try and save money, which has lead to a lot of employee disruption and insecurity. The more tenured leaders have been scrambling and its 50/50 whether the staff at ZoomCare choose to make changes or if their parent company will tell them to try something and not take any ownership when the idea fails. Daily life in each clinic seems to be more steady than administrative roles, but that also reflects how siloed each clinic and department is. Check back in after a year to see if their rating improves.
