Pros

The "positive" reviews on here are obvious fake reviews from the management that stink of desperation. This company looks great on paper, but fails miserably in practice. Very few pros. Working 3.5 days a week is one of the only ones mentionable.

Cons

Very rigid company structure that does not encourage independent thinking. Either you do things "the zoom way" or you can leave. Everything is protocol driven and they severely restrict your ability to practice as a clinician. You don't get to use your clinical acumen. You are forced to practice in a very specific way that is highly retail driven. Their managers have retail rather than clinical backgrounds yet they dictate how you practice.

Pros

Worked with many talented and fresh-minded individuals.

Cons

All they cared about was their silly esthetics and their bottom line.

I Would Not Recommend Working at Zoom+Care.

Pros

The Associate role provides lab, phlebotomy, and overall patient care experience that is good for someone looking to move up in healthcare (outside of Zoom+Care) or apply to a medical program. The Provider role pays well compared to the other healthcare systems in the area. My co-workers in the clinics are wonderful and we all work well together.

Cons

No leadership - management is unsupportive, unavailable, and lacks the ability to lead and empower a team. Unrealistic and unsafe expectations for patient care, including seeing all chief complaints within a 15 minute window (this include female pelvic exams and mental health visits) in order to boost profits and patient counts. No solidified or reliable bonus structure. Constant turnover. No support for post-clinic patient care, which now includes the removal of the company phone number for patient use. Patients are now directed to chat or visit clinics to complain/resolve issues with no regard for a complete patient experience. The home-grown technology used within the clinic systems that the company is proud of seems to fall apart daily and disrupts patient care - all the while claiming to be a Technology company first, Healthcare company second. Healthcare should never be put second, patient care should always be the #1 priority.
