Pros

A company that has the desire to be the best they can as a disruptive entry in an exciting field. Knowing that you're helping people get care and better their lives brings more meaning and fulfillment to the workplace . Free kombucha when it's not tapped.

Cons

Very noisy office with more space dedicated to meeting rooms and the weird cafeteria thing that no one in tech uses than to actual workspace - leading to cramped conditions. Really poor office equipment, chairs and desks that shouldn't be an issue are uncomfortable and not something you'd want to sit in for 40 hours a week. Really poor monitors and office equipment. No office snacks at all - really crappy office for a tech startup in general. Mass exodus of all contractors just happened. Contractors that have the sole knowledge of entire systems the company relies upon, now gone - adding 100's of hours of technical debt in a snap. Makes you wonder if they'll just get rid of us impulsively at some point. As a prospective engineer I would not take a position here. Meet the people running the organization and draw conclusions from that. Do your research.

RUN AWAY FROM ZC!!

Pros

Working for Zoom you will meet so many bright and wonderful medical providers who genuinely care for each of their patients. PAs/NPs who do their best to give the best care possible in the 15 minute time slots that they are allotted to bring a patient back, take their vitals, get a history, treat, and chart the entire encounter in. On top of answering calls from patients having issues with their medications because there aren't any nurses or MAs to do so. As a ZCA you will learn to multitask like no tomorrow because you are the receptionist, phlebotomist, lab tech, assistant, cleaning lady, insurance know it all, and haver of constant uncomfortable conversations with patients who don't understand why we would ever require them to pay a $300+ balance up front.

Cons

Where do I begin. This place is full of negatives. No matter what you do for the company you will hear endless empty promises. As providers & ZCAs you will be managed by someone who has NO IDEA what they are doing. They have absolutely no medical experience, but have no problem questioning every little thing you do. They are professional micro-managers & excellent evaders of all real issues. ZC has designed their own EMR that never works & will push you to the brink of insanity with every single click in a patient chart. The insurance is the worst I've ever seen. Don't plan on having babies, being hospitalized, or needing any medical care beyond a UTI because none of it will be covered. But the bane of your existence will be a group of employees that ZC calls "help team" or "gurus." Their background is also not medically related, but call centers like for Jamba Juice. These are the people who will answer patient calls, royally butcher chief complaints, schedule patients inappropriately, tell the patient they will verify their insurance & not do it, and pretty much dictate how your schedule will be for your shift.

Pros

They were located in a decent building, in an area that had lots of lunch options. Other than that, I am just typing words to get to the minimum.

Cons

Owner thinks he is revolutionary, and completely delusional. Also tried to be a motivational speaker on every conference call. Serious kool-aid drinkers there.
