Interview Process

Pros

From start to finish my recruiter Brad Hohman made my experience one to remember. Never in my entire career had I immediately get so valued while also feeling like someone was looking out for the best interest of their organization all while being articulate and professional. Once starting with Zoominfo it was very apparent to me that everyone who went through Brad had been very good. The company as a whole is amazing from top to bottom with real buy-in on their people that is backed up by their actions. I 100% recommended everyone work at Zoominfo and if you’re lucky like me that Experience will start with Brad.

Cons

None, Brad made the whole process quick and seamless. From start to finish the interview process was great.

Pros

ZoomInfo is clearly going places. With the recent Insent, Chorus, Everstring, and Clickagy acquisitions there is no doubt ZI will continue to thrive financially. The earnings opportunities are real, for the right people. Pretty fun for the first year or two.

Cons

You are a number here, nothing more. This is a company that focuses on doing/saying anything to get the sale. Witnessed first hand celebrated tactics that a large % of people would find outright despicable. The this is very much a “well I got them to sign, let the AM/CSM deal with them now” type of place. Again many people may view this as a pro though. Mgmnt celebrating the fact someone closed a deal on their honeymoon or a day after their first child was born, and then using that as a “challenge/measuring stick” to everyone else tells you everything you need to know about the culture. The ironic part is they know this, they don’t care, it’s your typical SaaS meat grinder. Some people may consider this a pro again. (Insert rocket ship emoji, LFG, WYSIM...and every other bs sales slogan you can think of). If moral integrity is not a priority and you just want to make money, you will.

I appreciate you taking a moment to leave your honest feedback. I’m disappointed to hear that you’re unhappy at ZoomInfo, especially since it seems like you have been with us for several years. I wanted to respond to this review to clarify what I see as an important distinction. You’re right, we are a sales-focused culture and you bet we will celebrate a hard-won deal. But, when we tell stories like the ones you mentioned, we’re celebrating tenacity, creativity, and a no-quit attitude. I don’t expect my AE’s to interrupt their honeymoons, other important events, or hard-earned vacation to close a deal, but I do expect passion and grit. So when a salesperson has that in spades, we will always applaud them – because they’re human beings worth remembering and recognizing – never just a number. No one at ZoomInfo is just a number to me. I’d like to help in whatever way I can to make sure you don’t feel this way anymore. Having said that, I can’t address what I don’t know about. If you don’t feel comfortable bringing your concerns to me directly, please speak with your supervisor or anyone in the New Sales leadership team. We want to make this right. – Steven Bryerton, ZoomInfo SVP of Sales
