Pros

ZoomInfo provides so many resources to succeed as well as a robust onboarding experience (especially being remote). This pleasantly surprised me. There are a lot of opportunities for growth within the company as well as a great tech stack to ensure success in your role.

Cons

With the rapid growth of the company (which is so fun and exciting), I have noticed that many processes have not quite caught up yet. This can make work disorganized at times but is also an opportunity to make an impact and influence change.

Toxic Place to Work

Pros

There are smart and kind colleagues, my pay was at market rate, and they have a good tech stack

Cons

- Work/life balance doesn't exist: I worked 80-100 hours per week despite actively working with my manager and VP on prioritizing asks from other cross-functional teams. Unlimited PTO looks good on paper, but there are black out periods (in December 2020, sales and marketing weren't allowed to take time off) and unmovable deadlines meant I had to over-work on other days, negating any time I took off. - Poor executive leadership: The executive team isn't well aligned, they had unrealistic deadlines, and they yell and berate you in front of others. - High churn of amazing people: I saw great people get burned out, snap, or could not justify sustaining their way of work at ZoomInfo in the long-term because of the toxic environment created by the above two points. - Healthcare benefits are poor: For the Greater Boston area, coverage was so terrible that I switched to my husband's health insurance.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I never like to hear that an employee left ZoomInfo on bad terms. With regard to your work/life balance, 80-100 hours is not typical of ZoomInfo and I am sorry that was your experience. I also want to be clear that we absolutely do not tolerate bullying or harassment of any kind. If you would like to reach out to discuss what you experienced, I would be more than happy to speak with you personally. I would like to address your points about turnover and healthcare coverage as well. The talent ecosystem of mid- to large-sized SaaS companies, as well as the current economy and job market, means that hiring is extremely fast-paced and competitive, and can lead to a perception of churn. However, I’m happy to report that our turnover is actually below the industry benchmark. And although our benefits offerings are already great for our industry, we are making incremental improvements every single year. We keep extremely close tabs on the types of coverages our employees need for themselves and their families, as evidenced by our expanded Vision, Dental, and EPO healthcare plan options for this year – with even more improvements on the way for 2022! Thank you again for taking the time to leave your thoughts. – Alyssa Lahar, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

ZoomInfo is growing at a rapid rate, and there are always opportunities for growth within. Because ZoomInfo is an information software, they're wonderful at tracking personal growth for their team members, and giving rewards based on numbers. Management's kindness and thoughtfulness is a breath of fresh air, compared to other large/fast-growing companies.

Cons

Pre-boarding and initial onboarding and training made for a bumpy start. Because they are growing so quickly, there's a lot to keep up with at all times, and the training never stops. But that is also half the fun!

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave thoughtful feedback. This is indeed a great place to grow, and since we give our employees a lot of responsibility, we make sure we reward and celebrate success. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our pre-boarding and onboarding experience as we want your experience with ZoomInfo to be excellent from the get-go. Between our Learning & Development and Sales Enablement groups, we’re working hard to smooth out any bumps or wrinkles. If you have any specific feedback you’d be willing to share, the L&D team would welcome it! Please reach out to them at your convenience or send a note to HRfeedback@zoominfo.com. – ZoomInfo Employee Experience
