Pray that you get a good team. Better yet, go look for better opportunities elsewhere.
Pros
- if your team is friendly and open, you'll have a great time working with other members of your team - free lunches on Thursdays to make up for the litany of issues they have elsewhere - free fruit, because I was trying to make this list three items long
Cons
- complete breakdown of communication in between teams, especially between buildings and divisions - HR doesn't actually care, and instead are focusing their time on trying to salvage the company's reputation (just look at the previous reviews) - upper management doesn't have a sense of direction for the company as a whole - incredibly toxic politics between teams when it comes time to assign blame - even if you're stretched thin with your R&D projects, they'll still make you do tech support because they're not willing to hire a whole tech support team - have to fight for work life balance - they don't provide fair compensation, despite increasing your job duties - blatant sexist comments
