Pros

I no longer work at accesso, but during my time there I was always impressed with how they ran their organization. It was already a growing company before I started (in 2015), but the culture and effectiveness of how they ran their business was like a well-oiled machine which is a big factor, in my opinion, on their continued growth and profitability . From my first interview with the recruiter through my last day at accesso, I felt at home and excited about all the potential here. I was technically challenged and the team I was on had these intense brainstorm sessions that always left me coming out of those meetings feeling like I actually learned something. Family-like atmosphere and a fair employer.

Cons

There could be more transparency on when we are about to close on new clients and even on clients that we may be sunsetting. Overall, not much negative that I can think of. I've worked at large enterprise corporations and mid-sized start ups, everyone has their issues. accesso really seemed to have it together for the most part and where they were lacking, they were quick to put it on the business optimization roadmap to improve for the following year.

Pros

I like the lack of micro-management in this company. I'm trusted to do my job to the best of my ability with minimal oversight and second-guessing. The work environment is progressive with flexible hours (core hours are 10-4), free snacks and sodas, team building events. Accesso hires people that are a good fit for the culture which helps maintain cohesive teams that work well together. It facilitates collaboration and it makes it so that I enjoy coming to work

Cons

9 hour days are expected. It's a bit of a challenge, but it's not uncommon for IT professionals to put in more than 40 hours per week. Benefits could be a little better as I'm expected to pay for my medical insurance for the individual.
