      Don't Work Here. You'll Regret It.

      Pros

      The main pro was that it was a job. And they'll take just about anybody.

      Cons

      No loyalty. I worked there for 5 years, doing outbound sales, inbound sales, then eventually QA. I loved doing QA and I felt like I gave my heart and soul to that company. Then, out of the blue, they called me and said my dept was being downsized and I was chosen to be let go. Never explained why I was chosen, considering I was one of the senior agents. Combine that with the confirmed knowledge that certain sales managers get drunk at work, and have been seen doing drugs at corporate events. I've since gotten a job that pays 3 times what I was being paid there. Losing my job at ICE was one of the best things to happen to me.

      I have no pros for I.C.E.

      Cons

      The CIO is very unprofessional. Leadership has no clue how to program so developers end up working on projects that are not planned out properly. They abuse weekend time and don't pay you for it. Everyone is against one another so the team environment is terrible.

      Very difficult environment for Developers!

      Pros

      Head of IT is actually trying to change things! This could be an awesome place to work if these issues get addressed. If this happens I will be sure to change this review accordingly!

      Cons

      Very poor working environment, you will work 7 days a week and holidays. There is no work life balance. The in-fighting of the tech teams is unbearable and the teams never plan correctly instead they put out fires after the fact instead of proper planning. Everyone always feels like their jobs are on the line as the company switches back and forth from outsourcing the work to in-house. You will be brought in with a specific skill set and then be thrown into something else with absolutely no support system in-place. If you are a good developer, you will not stay very long. There are no "official" project managers and the acting ones are extremely mean (and they have no families or life so they work 7 days a week including holidays so you will do the same!) and unreasonable. If you like being beaten up come and work here, I promise you will get your share. this is not an environment where a developer can thrive, learn and continue advancing.
