      Pros

      Opportunity to be on the leading edge of a dynamic industry

      Cons

      Too much is being put on a small group of employees and this is impacting their overall outputs. Feel things are spinning out of control. Do not believe we live up to the commitments made - especially around mandate related items. Feel we over promise and under deliver, and the customers are losing faith in us. I used to really enjoy eClinicalWorks, but as of late it has become a difficult place to work.

      Pros

      Management allows independent thinking to solve problems creatively instead of just telling people what to do. Very fast paced company which makes for fun and interesting work, very rarely does the time drag by… Room to grow within the company. Great benefits and bonuses. A family-like atmosphere. Great opportunities to work in small groups on individual components of the software – even if you aren’t a software developer. Dynamic and full of energy. A company full of smart/friendly/driven individuals. The ability to walk right into Girish’s office, without an appointment, and sit down and talk is great. Overall eCW is a great place to work.

      Cons

      A lot of policies/procedures don’t seem to make any sense (and sometimes there are no policies/procedures at all). It seems as if there is not enough talking between department leads and the info doesn’t make it downhill to others. It is difficult to make changes within the company. Workloads can get a little crazy.
