Pros

The team I'm on has great work life balance and fun. The company is starting to hire more young people which is positively impacting the office atmosphere. eGain is trying to be more competitive in Silicon Valley by offering free catered lunch on Fridays and other office perks. eGain is a great company for an entry level positions because you get a lot of hands on experience and can get work experience in a department you were necessarily hired for.

Cons

eGain overall does not value retaining talent with compensation and opportunities for growth. There is also a lot of nepotism, which takes some getting use to.

eGain is an innovative company that is using Artificial Intelligence and Analytics to solve the problems of customer contact centers. Great products, very capable workforce, good work culture, fair pay with good benefits and above all excellent opportunities to learn and innovate.

Cons

Being way ahead of its time always poses some challenges specifically in the beginning as the use of AI and Analytics in contact center was still in nascent stage about 20 years ago. However, 20 years of hard work is now starting to pay off as the customers have started to appreciate the value of eGain products in solving their problems.
