Pros
Decent pay but not great Free food once a month
Cons
I left this company this past November for the following reasons. - The management doesn’t take harassment seriously, they brush it under the rug. - Leads, Supervisors and Managers will harass you if you don’t bow down to their every demands. - They tell you to put your license on the line by signing off other mechanics jobs or with cowboy maintenance, there’s a lot of cowboy maintenance. - They don’t follow FAA regulations - They rob parts off of customer aircrafts. - They intentionally give individuals they don’t like the more unsavory jobs in an attempt to push them out of the company. - Their training consists of signing a piece of paper stating you’ve completed training without actually receiving any. - They run the facility like it’s the military, telling you not to report to HR if you have an issue and to go up the chain of command so they can control the narrative, in turn not having to do anything to rectify the issue reported - They’ve fired several people that come in and try to turn the place around to follow safety procedures as well as FAA regulations I was rated a top mechanic on my shift and I still experienced all of this as well as witnessing a lot worse happen to other mechanics. This is a very toxic company to work for as a mechanic. They don’t treat anyone fairly unless you’re part of the “good ole boys club”. Favoritism is a very real issue here and if you’re looking for a job as a mechanic I highly recommend not to even consider this job as an opportunity. The only way you’ll go far in this company is by not having any integrity and being a yes man
