Worst Apps Ever!

Pros

You will never hear from your boss as long as you are doing your job. In fact, if you call they will not answer. If you leave a message it will not be returned. Not a problem for me.

Cons

Absolutely the worst, most confusing, ridiculous work apps (that’s right, there’s 2 of them!) I have ever used. Talk about having to jump through hoops! Been in the business for many years and have used all kinds of apps, good and bad. These are by far the worst, hands down! Otherwise a good company I guess. Don’t know anything about the corporate culture and have only spoken to my boss a few times in the six months I’ve been with them. This really is a job for someone with a little experience because the support is just not there. New managers because of constant turnover is the main issue as far as I can tell. Not much depth of knowledge.

Pros

Flexibility. If you need time off, it's very, very, very easy to get the time off. Fun. If you like organizing stuff and have a bit of OCD tendencies, you will enjoy the work Independence. If you are self-motivated and like working by yourself, this is good for you. Social. Even though you often work by yourself, you're in a retail establishment, so you do have the opportunity to talk with customers, other vendors, coworkers and store staff. Anti Social. If you don't like being social, you can usually just keep to yourself.

Cons

Part time, irregular, unpredictable work subject to cancellations, or limitations because the supplies or fixtures you need are not on site when you arrive. Paperwork. A lot of paperwork to read before any given job, plus a lot of paperwork to fill out after the job, and again after you get home. A lot of it is duplicate stuff that's a waste of time. You also have to submit photos of your work to prove you did it. Little training, if any. You learn by asking coworkers. As a result, everyone does things differently and eventually, someone will yell at you for doing things wrong, even though you're doing things the way you were trained. Thankless job, usually. The Footprint staff is impersonal and never praises you, and rarely thanks you. Even then, the thank you is via email, so you don't know if it's sincere, or a form letter.

Pros

I loved the travel but the company became cheap. And that is the only good thing I can say.

Cons

We lost a major contract and I did not work for six months They cheated me on pay several times and would do nothing to fix it.. When I turned down a job with only one hour a month they terminated me. I lost my vacation pay and had worked for the company for fifteen years. Honestly would you want to work for a company like that?
