Pros

Pay is okay but lower than the industry standard. Other than that, your coworkers in other departments. They are nice and friendly.

Cons

The entire company is not bad to work for. I hear the warehouse and assembly are very good. On the other hand, all other positions not related to assembly and production are pretty bad. Accepting this job and working here is probably the Worst mistake I have ever made in my entire life. I ignored the other negative reviews thinking they were disgruntled. They are completely right. I'm still here and no one has moved up. More than 5 people have left the company in my time here. I'm personally currently looking for other opportunities. There is no room to move up unless someone dies or quit's. Most of the senior management have been here 10+ years. Their lack of experience in different companies really puts the employees at a disadvantage. Stay here for a 1-2 years tops or just look elsewhere. Not a knock on my coworkers, but their recent hires have not been the best. So if you work hard, you may have to pick up the slack for your lazy counterpart. In addition, their lack of any sort of long-term 401k and matching program puts you at a disadvantage.

Pros

It's an Entry-Level computer job i guess.

Cons

Management doesn't care and are very abusive, growth with-in company, no pay raise, bad warehouse conditions, faulty equipment to work with, HR does nothing about it.

Pros

Tech department was great to work with. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Always a pleasure to work with them. Benefits were getting better. Good way to get experience. Good bonus and end of year party.

Cons

Where to begin? As other reviews have stated the biggest problem is upper management or their lack of management to be more exact. The whole company lacks direction. Departments are given tasks that take time to get done right but they want everything to be done fast. They don't care how bad PC's are built, they care about how many PC's are sold which is probably why QC simply chooses to ignore problems and the solution is "ship it, we need our numbers, tech support will take care of it". iBUYPOWER has no vision. They claim to be "gaming define" and blast about all the hard work that goes into these builds. They're wrong. Tech Support took care of the mistakes ignored. As techs we wanted to make sure the customer had something that was working but again upper management only cared about how many systems were repair, even if it meant doing a mediocre repair yet they also expected excellent customer service when customers called in. Supervisors in other departments don't care about anything else other than getting paid, they hardly contribute to anything. iBUYPOWER could be so much more. People see them as a good gaming company when they hosts event but the sad reality is they don't care about their customers, they don't care about their employees and they have absolutely no leadership. The few people who try their best to make the company great get thrown under the bus constantly, get heat from upper management and in the end are set up to eventually fail.
