Pros

Staff is very nice. You get paid 2 times a month and it is always on time.

Cons

Too micromanaged. Some of the sales people are obnoxious and have an alcohol problem. New people don't get accounts that buy anything. You will get leftovers that no one else wants and couldn't sell to. You will use your own cell phone, car and gas. When the stipend runs out in 6 months, your paycheck will be nothing. I don't care how good of a sales person you are, you will not be given a chance at this employer. They do not train you and expect you to know all of their computer software off the bat. A party culture among the sales staff and if you aren't an alcoholic and love to party this job is not for you. They don't like older sale people, you have to be young. There is definately age descrimination in this company.

Pros

Can be a fun environment and there is a small opportunity to make some money if you are just starting out in media sales. Sponsorships that the stations put on are large and there is a way to sell that to clients as a creative out of the box way for their customers.

Cons

You are "working for the man" and "big brother is watching". They keep track of when you come and go. For a commission sales job, the micromanagement is a little much.

Pros

I've really enjoyed working at iheartradio (I'm a software engineer). There are a lot of challenging, high-impact problems to work on. Culture and work-life balance are great - almost everyone is friendly, and there's relatively little drama. The corporate parent funds us while respecting our ability to do good work. There are free concerts, free snacks, and free lunches every week. There are a lot of social events that are inclusive and don't come come off as forced (I hate when companies try creating a fake culture).

Cons

There's a lot of technical debt. While the company structure is fairly flat, this sometimes creates some disorganization. Terrible benefits, not at all up to par with modern tech companies.
