It's a cult.

Pros

The people who love it speak of nothing but winning for their clients and growing with the business. “Make your clients money so you can make more money, support your family and retire successful.” The people that buy-in have a different experience than the people who don’t. Each pay raise is directly attributed to your ability to make the business more money – either because you’re doing the work of 2 people or you’re quantifiably making your clients (and thus iNET) more money.

Cons

Material comforts are sacrificed for ever-increasing employee payroll. They constantly make jokes about stacking cubicles on top of each other while they expand the building again. The people not in the cult burn-out quickly – an environment that worships the twin gods of productivity and results is not gentle. People who are looking for explanations, orientation, and meetings tend to hate the taste of water-filled lungs when they realize they’ve been thrown in the pool to find out if they can swim.

A place of growth

Pros

I started working at iNET 4 years ago, being hired as a janitor. Over the years iNET taught me the skills that allowed me to grow well beyond a janitor and into the role of a Technician. Not only that but their flexibility in scheduling allowed me to go to school full time while also letting have as many hours as I could work. Alongside iNET's flexibility, I would say one of the greatest positives is the people. The amount of time and effort my peers have put into investing in my skills and abilities is beyond anything I could have ever imagined when I started working 4 years ago.

Cons

Growing pains. As I said, iNET fosters a great deal of growth within its doors and while this is a very good thing, it also means there are some growing pains along the way. I watched iNET grow from around 50 people to over a 100 and while exciting, it also mean't things can get a little cramped and crazy around here.

Pros

Over the last 10+ years I've included a statement as part of my Goals and Objectives in my resume. And though it may sound generic I meant every word. "I want to be a valuable part of a marketing team, where my experience and passion for design can make a difference in its success." After working for multiple agencies and in-house design departments I have finally found an employer that makes me feel just that, VALUED! Before iNET I used to come home frustrated and stressed everyday from work because I wasn't allowed to do my best. Sounds weird I know but any creative thats ever worked under someone who wasn't creative knows what Im talking about. Not only has iNET allowed me to be creative, there are some in management pushing me to go farther then I felt comfortable going with awesome results. Though I've only worked at iNET for 8 months I can confirm passion and hard work gets noticed. Management including the CEO Steve Libbey, has gone out of his way more then once to let me know how much he appreciated the hard work. This is also a company that does care for it employees. Within a couple month period of time I was hospitalized twice. Naturally I was worried about the amount of time I've missed not having worked there long. Management let me know immediately not to worry about it "WE JUST WANT YOU HEALTHY". It was overwhelming the amount of genuine concern and happiness from everyone when I finally came back.

Cons

his is a true sink or swim place of employment! Could see this as a deal breaker for some. - If you do nothing you will drown here. - If you tread water and just do whats required, you might last a while but will probably be miserable not able to move forward in the company. - If you swim, get passionate about what your doing you will be successful. Even those who struggled where given a lifeline because they tried to be better. iNET is still learning to be the powerhouse it is. Processes and structure need to be refined and would maximize everyones potential.
