Not worth it

Pros

High salaries and shares are available Interesting product that is disruptive to the market Some nice people e.g. american team try to be helpful

Cons

This is the kind of company where you don’t realise how bad it is until you get out. It’s okay whilst you are there and can even teach you some basic skills but is definitely not going to help you build a career. Reasons including; • I felt there was immature and unprofessional management, with no concept of how to nurture employees and get the best out of them. • No decorum - acting immature and nonchalant the entire time an employee is working for you gives off a bad impression and frankly destroys all credibility and opportunity for respect. • Despite having a good product, sales process is so incredibly weak, it doesn't allow the opportunity to show prospects the true value the solution can bring. Most deals are closed by offering discounts. Was told to lie about capabilities by the director. • Workplace bullying – from colleagues and management probably due to pressure from the top • No other benefits

Pros

Got to work on a lot of different projects My team mates were easy to work with Low supervision, didn't have anyone over my shoulder 24/7

Cons

No intern training, still hardly know any of the marketing lingo and made it difficult for some projects Interdepartmental communication is lacking, two weeks into a project I found out by chance that another team was also doing the same project...

The "Start Up" that Won't Ramp Up

Pros

Impact Radius is a great company if you're not entirely sure what you want to do yet as a permanent career path. Because it is still in start-up mode, the job descriptions are fluid and you get the opportunity to try your hand at almost everything.

Cons

Because it is so fluid, there is very little organization. Different teams seem to be competing too much and are pitting themselves against others, so there is very little positive collaboration. Things move forward in leaps and bounds, but it takes a while for the company to catch up to those changes.
