Last week, Continental Properties held its annual Manager's Meeting at the Aloft Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. This year’s theme was "Mindset Shift: Powered by Culture with a Bias to Action" and the event aimed to bring team members together to reflect on the past year, discuss goals, and celebrate achievements. The meeting started with a keynote discussing Continental's Three Pillars, emphasizing the importance of taking great care of our customers and team members while maintaining financial success. In addition, workshops were held that discussed embracing difficult conversations, de-escalation strategies, and the mindset shifts needed to adapt to the changing real estate environment. The event concluded with an awards ceremony celebrating 2022’s outstanding achievements.

Continental Properties is excited to announce that two of its communities, Springs at Hamburg and Springs at Sun Prairie, have earned placement in the 2022 Elite 1% ORA® Power Rankings. In association with Multifamily Executive, J Turner Research monitors the online ratings across various review sites and internet listing services of over 132,000 properties. These ratings are placed into a proprietary algorithm that assigns those properties a score between 0-100. This score establishes a benchmark and allows communities and portfolios to be compared with one another. Only 1,984 properties earned the Elite 1% distinction for 2022 based on their ORA scores. Another Continental community, Springs at the Reserve, received recognition as a J Turner Top 10 Property for the Grand Rapids market. This ranking focuses on the nation’s 51st to 75th most populous metropolitan statistical areas and the top ORA Properties in each.

At Continental Properties, our team members are committed to giving back to the communities we serve through charitable partnerships across the country, including through our Continental Cares program. Our Continental Cares committee was formed in the spring of 2018 to identify charitable opportunities that closely align with Continental’s core values, beliefs, and work ethic. In 2022, Continental partnered with four charitable organizations: Revitalize Milwaukee, Wisconsin Honor Flight, Ronald McDonald House, and K9s for Warriors. We are excited to share that our team raised over $70,000 in 2022 to be donated to our charitable partners.
