At the end of 2020 into 2021, Cotiviti's social responsibility program, Cotiviti Cares, conducted a matching campaign with RIP Medical Debt, an organization dedicated to eradicating the tremendous medical debt faced by individuals and families. We partnered with RIP to do a public matching campaign and in total we raised approximately $32K ($16K donations, $16K match from Cotiviti). A big thank you to all the employees who supported this campaign, as well as our external contributors. We are proud to announce that RIP reported we were able to erase approximately $1.6M in medical debt for more than 1000 recipients in GA (Clayton County), TX (Harris County), and UT (Salt Lake City). This was our second year partnering with RIP and in total we have helped to abolish over $5.6M in medical debt for more than 2600 recipients so that they can be unburdened by this debt and start on the road to financial stability.
