Farm Show fun was brought to a group of seniors in Harrisburg Wednesday. It can be hard for some of them to move around the crowded halls of the complex, but seniors still participated in seated square dancing. “It’s very interactive physically, a lot of movement exercise and it’s just great fun,” said Diana Bixler. “It really is. It’s a lot of fun, and it’s a memory invoker, too, because they’ll share memories if they’ve been to square dances, they did square dancing.” Aside from do-si-do-ing, seniors also got to taste Farm Show staples like milkshakes and make butter.
