The COVID-19 pandemic paused in-person events for nearly two years, but our events team — managed by Lauren Choler — is excited about their return. Innovation is a muscle that has to be flexed. That’s why CoverMyMeds hosts biannual Innovation Days — so employees can dedicate time and space to exercise their creativity. This season’s event took place Nov. 8-12, culminating with 10 ideas that advanced to the final stage, covering a variety of ideas from employees across the organization.

One way to promote gender, racial and ethnic equality in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce is to improve access to quality education and encourage interest in related subjects at an early age. At CoverMyMeds, we support those efforts through strategic relationships with COSI, PAST Foundation and TECH CORPS.

Investing in Education: Supporting the Next Generation of Innovators
Over the past nine years, CoverMyMeds has awarded $150,000 in mini grants to 45 employees through our annual CoverMyQuest event. In 2021, we scaled our class of winners from the typical 10 to 23 — plus added an additional two People’s Choice Award recipients selected by our employees. From holiday light shows to beekeeping aspirations, this year’s winners set out to impress.
