Join us, and welcome to Hunter Sakiewicz! Hunter goes to Purdue University-West Lafayette and wants to become a design engineer. He chose Daifuku Wynright to learn more about design for manufacturing, and he finds interesting all the different modules Daifuku Wynright offers and their applications. "If you design something and it can't be cost-effectively manufactured, it's not an excellent design," he said. During his 3-month internship, he expects to learn more about machine design experience, further his CAD experience, and professional communication skills. Meet Tanner Brammeier, our controls engineering intern. Tanner chose to work for Daifuku Wynright because of his interest in automation that goes back to his high school job as an electrical intern for a German automation company, PIA. He hopes to learn more about the industry and what makes Daifuku Wynright a leader in the material handling industry. "When people order a package with Amazon Prime and expect it in two days, most people have no idea the amount of automation that goes into ensuring you get that package on time, but that is what is truly unique," he said. After graduation from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana, Tanner hopes to get a job in Germany's automation or automotive industry. He loves golf, exploring the outdoors, hunting, fishing, video games, and PC building/overclocking.
