Evan Stevens recently completed his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, graduating after the fall semester. Prior to his final semester, he completed a Human Resources internship with Daifuku Intralogistics, where he gained hands-on experience supporting the HR team across multiple functions. During his internship, Evan had the opportunity to work closely with HR professionals across the talent acquisition and HR business partner teams. Through shadowing and one-on-one conversations, he deepened his understanding of recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and overall HR strategy. After finishing his internship in August and completing his degree in December, he transitioned into a full-time role as a Human Resources Business Partner. In this position, Evan supports leaders and employees by driving engagement, providing guidance on HR policies and processes, and contributing to key initiatives focused on culture, development, and organizational growth. He graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and entered the industry with a strong interest in large-scale automated systems and how mechanical designs evolve from concept to operational reality. In his role, Eduardo supports mechanical project execution by collaborating closely with engineers and project teams on system layouts, equipment integration, and on-site installation and commissioning activities. As an early-career engineer, Eduardo brings a fresh perspective, a strong technical foundation, and a curiosity-driven mindset.
