Dover Food Retail Goes Pink in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dover Food Retail partnered with the American Cancer Society to help raise awareness about the impacts of breast cancer. Through the collective efforts of the Dover Food Retail employees around the U.S., the team was able to raise and donate approximately $4,000 via employee donations. Dover Food Retail also provided a mobile mammogram screening event for their employees. “We all know someone—a wife, a sister, a mother, a friend—who has been impacted by breast cancer,” said Karla Bonzie, Vice President of Human Resources at Dover Food Retail. “It is so important that we continue to raise awareness, educate, and support the people whose lives it has touched.”

SWEP Continues Global Investment Program with Manufacturing Plant Expansions and New R&D Center SWEP, part of Dover (NYSE: DOV) and a world-leading supplier of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs), today announced that it is expanding its global footprint with multiple manufacturing plant expansions, a new R&D center and corporate head office. SWEP’s Suzhou operations in China will transition to a new larger manufacturing facility to serve key markets across Asia and Australia. The facility is currently under construction, and SWEP expects to start occupying the new premises at the beginning of 2024. SWEP is also investing further in Landskrona, Sweden, including a new R&D center near the expanding manufacturing plant, and a new environmentally-certified head office. The R&D center will house core technical expertise, an upgraded innovation lab and expanded testing capabilities. Both new facilities are essential for accommodating SWEP’s expanding workforce and for attraction of new talent interested in a career delivering de-carbonization and energy-efficiency solutions.
Dover Precision Components Opens Innovation Lab Dover Precision Components, part of Dover (NYSE: DOV), today announced the official opening of its Innovation Lab. Since the construction of the nearly 12,000-square-foot building was completed, the lab team has focused on the installation and commissioning of key test rigs for its fluid film bearings and compression products. The Innovation Lab has four independent test bays to allow work on multiple rigs at once with dedicated control rooms to monitor and collect test data and help ensure the safe operation of the equipment. The lab was built to centralize the company’s test rigs and bring together the research and product development teams. These teams are focused on developing innovative new products and technologies to support a greener future, including the upcoming installation of a hydrogen testing facility for performance materials that are key to enabling the transition to hydrogen. New Pollinator Garden at CPC Roseville Demonstrates Collaborative Spirit and Environmental Stewardship CPC’s Roseville facility has committed to giving back to the local community and ecosystem by adding a pollinator garden to its property, which includes six raised beds in varying shapes and sizes. Recently a group of 27 volunteers from across CPC helped fill them with 134 plants of 23 different varieties. Besides being perennials, which means they will come back year after year, all of the plants are beneficial to pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. Pollinators are essential because, without them, we wouldn’t have seeds, fruits, or new plants. According to the National Pollinator Partnership organization, "Pollinators are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food." This achievement recognizes the commercial refrigeration systems manufacturer that has installed more advanced refrigeration systems in GreenChill-certified stores than any other partner in the past year. Inclusive of the 2021-2022 cycle, Hillphoenix systems are installed in over 80% of GreenChill-certified stores. This is Hillphoenix’s 11th consecutive GreenChill recognition since the Store Certification Excellence recognition was first created in 2011. Hillphoenix Helps Students Get Back to School with Supplies Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail, helped students in Rockdale County, Georgia, get back to school by donating essentials and supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, folders, writing utensils and cleaning supplies to Peeks Chapel Elementary School. The donation was part of Hillphoenix’s commitment to engaging with the local community. MAAG Germany Celebrates 75th Anniversary MAAG Group, a broadly diversified global solutions provider with integrated and customizable systems in process technology for the polymer, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries, celebrates 75 years at its facility in Großostheim, Germany. Founded in 1947 by Hans Hench Sr. in Aschaffenburg, Germany, the MAAG Germany that we know today was then named Automatik H. Hench und J. Kaupp KG. As early as 1948, the company started supplying its first machines and equipment for plastics processing. In the 1950s, the plant was steadily expanded and the first design office was established. After the sale of the first strand pelletizer, Automatik exhibited for the first time at the 1959 K` Plastics Fair in Düsseldorf.
