On Friday evening, executive leadership, family members, and business partners were invited to Michigan Aviation in Waterford, MI to watch the premiere of the documentary detailing our company's history in correlation with our 100-year anniversary. Prior to the film, the event attendees listened to moving speeches from Frances Rose, Warren Rose, and one of the 'Sons' of Edward Rose & Sons, Leslie Rose, prior to Keith Famie's introduction of his 45-minute documentary feature. We'd like to thank everyone that was on hand to assist in the planning and execution of this event including Emerald City Designs, Forte Belanger, Visionary Sound, First Class Valet, Visionalist Entertainment Productions, Event Theory, Shinola, Jean Lannen Images, and Michigan Aviation.

Yesterday, members from all four home offices participated in the first annual Edward Rose Classic golf outing at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston, MI in coordination with the company's 100-year anniversary. 75 team members were on hand to enjoy the beautiful weather, scenic golf course, and awesome raffle prizes. Over $1,200 was raised in the 50/50 raffle drawing to support the family of the late Jeff Hazel, who was a key member in organizing this golf outing event. All of the money raised ended up being donated to the family. Congratulations to the team of Traci McCoubrey, Emma Deem, Tim Lang, and Jake Guminik for coming in first place at the outing!

We're excited to share that two Lake in the Pines Apartments team members were honored virtually this afternoon during the annual Greater Fayetteville Apartment Association Starlight Awards Ceremony! Santanna McLaughlin won the 2020 GFAA Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship that will lead her to obtaining her National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) designation which will help her excel in the apartment industry to become a future leader. To be nominated, Santanna wrote a 750-word essay on diversity and inclusion which included her stating: "I honestly would not choose another field as a profession other than property management. I look forward in continuing to grow in this field and continuing to beat the odds and stereotypes that my culture has been painted in society." Brandon Washam captured the 2020 Rookie of the Year award as one of our newly-hired Maintenance
