January is National Mentoring Month! To show recognition for the great mentors and leaders we have, the Edward Rose University team is taking the time to shine the spotlight on those who go above leading, and actually take the time to mentor their peers. Mentoring is an important aspect of leading. Anyone can lead and manage a team, but being able to grow other leaders through mentoring is a true talent! Our first spotlight is on our CEO Warren Rose who goes above and beyond every day by setting a great example: When you think of leadership, being able to allow those you lead to follow with confidence is such an important component. Through effective mentoring, leaders can be encouraging by showing us how to turn our opportunities into strengths. Warren Rose excels in this area by demonstrating a servant leadership style, which allows his team to participate in collective decision-making. This style of leadership is important to give new ideas a seat at the table while boosting engagement.

Our latest project, in Carmel, Indiana, is now finished! The Rose Senior Living - Carmel is our most recent project; it has a much more urban feel to the site. The bones of this building are different from all of our other properties which the construction team loved, as they enjoy a new challenge. The 159-unit community consists of the Independent, Assisted Living, and the Memory Care apartments with a plethora of floor plans from which our residents may choose. There is also a rooftop garden with alfresco entertainment area, pond-side walking paths, a penthouse party room, a guest suite for visitors, and a general store.
